Tiếng Việt Island work also requires a lot of internet use for communication and entertainment. But due to geographical distance, fiber optic internet cannot be installed. Therefore, the best solution is to use 3G Dcom.
Currently, Viettel has covered all coastal areas of Vietnam within a range of 70 - 90 km. Continuous coverage, good signal quality create favorable conditions for fishermen, sailors, and islanders. According to measurement results in early May 2011, more than 3,000 km of nearshore waters of Vietnam have been covered by Viettel mobile signal. In large fishing grounds such as Ca Mau – Kien Giang, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, the coverage extends more than 200 km from the mainland.
How to use 3G Dcom on islands?
3G Dcom is very easy to use, you just need to plug it in and use it. Because there are many Viettel BTS stations on offshore islands. Areas with the Vietnam Navy have been covered by Viettel mobile signal.
Similar to using 3G dcom on the mainland in terms of operations, settings, top-ups... The only difference and also a point to note is the issue of preservation of 3G USB. Simply because the sea has salt wind and harsh sun which cause the device to fail quickly. The device needs to be carefully wrapped in plastic. On the islands, you can use multi-network 3G Dcom or Viettel Dcom. Because only Viettel SIM can be used here.
