Tiếng Việt What is 5G?
What is 5G? ? 5G is the next generation of mobile communication technology after 4G, operating in the 28, 38, and 60 GHz frequency bands.
5G specifications show that it has a peak data rate per single cell of up to 20 Gbps, 20 times faster than the peak data rate of 4G-LTE.
The telecommunications industry is preparing for the advent of the fifth-generation network called “5G”, with the first trials of this technology to be conducted in 2018.
South Korea is a pioneer in this technology through the PyeongChang Winter Olympics; athletes and journalists will use 5G network connections but not necessarily through smartphones. Additionally, the US, China, and the UK are also testing 5G networks.

It is very likely they will need to use rather small access points, and the first standards for this technology will also be established by the end of 2019.
Highlights of the 5G network
With the lightning-fast speed of 5G, 4G will gradually become obsolete. The average download speed of the 5G network is estimated to reach 20 GB/s. With specialized devices, the speed can even increase to 800 GB/s. You can download a Full HD video in just a few seconds.
This is an incredible advantage for users to watch more videos on their phones, as well as excellent compatibility with 4K or virtual reality headsets, and for remote medical needs, self-driving cars, and smart cities.

While 4G networks are used to connect most people on smartphones to the Internet, 5G networks will be used to connect tens of billions of various devices and machines to the Internet.
5G networks will be designed to adapt to the needs of different devices. If you are watching a 4K video, 5G will prioritize transmission capacity. If you are controlling a wireless device, it will prioritize fast transmission.
5G supports more devices simultaneously. According to ITU specifications, each 5G cell will support 1 million devices over an area of 1 km.2You don't need to worry about 5G speed when connecting many people at the same time.
What is 5G network video and is it important?
5G networks will also be developed to become a common language for all devices. 5G-connected mobile devices will be linked together into a common network.
It is expected that by 2019, developed countries will begin trial deployments of 5G networks. It is expected that by 2020, Vietnam will have 5G networks if the technology develops as it is today.
Hopefully, 5G networks will be deployed soon in the coming years. We will be able to use mobile data at speeds faster than fiber optic networks.
