By the end of 2016 will be the appointed time, the Ministry of Information and Communications will officially grant operating licenses for 4G networks in Vietnam. Besides thorough preparations for the new "era" of domestic network operators, major foreign businesses like Samsung, Apple... are ready for the Vietnamese market.

Samsung is a leading enterprise in the 4G field.
4G is known as the fourth-generation wireless communication technology. It allows users to transmit data at super-fast speeds. Developed and derived from 3G networks,Samsung's 4G networkwill meet the demands of applications requiring high-speed internet connections, and the needs for watching movies, Live Streaming, and live TV shows... will truly explode. But that's not all; the most remarkable thing is that with its "tremendous" internet speed, the 4G network can completely replace wired networks like ADSL...

It is known that the 4G network technology deployed in Vietnam will be LTE Advance, with theoretical speeds up to 300Mbps. With higher upgrades abroad, 4G networks can reach 1.5Gb/s. In 2015, major players in Vietnam have been actively piloting 4G networks in some regions. The results have been quite positive, marking the initial success on the path of developing this technology in the near future. Along with supportive policies for businesses from the state, the Ministry of Information and Communications has decided to grant licenses for network operators to deploy 4G networks by the end of 2016.
Now, the remaining question is whether powerful mobile device "warriors" like Samsung, Microsoft, HTC... are ready for the upcoming 4G network war?
Most of these well-known brands have previously supplied mobile devices supporting 4G in many countries worldwide. They have ample experience and technology, but the most crucial factor is that there is no specific information about the frequency bands for deploying 4G networks in Vietnam. Therefore, only from 2015 did these companies start supplying 4G-compatible products to Vietnam, and only high-end Smartphones were equipped with this technology: Samsung Galaxy S6, most recently S7, iPhone 6, 6S...

Samsung vigorously begins supplying 4G-compatible devices
Recognizing the potential of the Vietnamese market, Samsung has implemented long-term plans and strategies to promote the development of the telecommunications network. Not only that, but Samsung also promises to actively assist domestic businesses with its experience and cutting-edge technology.

Samsung's strategic vision
With many years of experience in the field of 4G network development (since 2010), Samsung is also preparing for the 5G network project. Therefore, as soon as Vietnamese businesses intended to deploy 4G networks, Samsung partnered with network operators such as Viettel, Mobifone, Vinaphone... to accelerate this development process.

Not stopping there, Samsung simultaneously launched phone versions supporting 4G technology for all user segments. Accordingly, from 2015 to now, models from mid-range to high-end such as Galaxy A, Galaxy J, Galaxy Note, Galaxy S6, S7... all support 4G LTE technology for data transmission speeds of up to 300Mbps.

Hopefully, with the strong support of Samsung, 4G networks in Vietnam will develop rapidly, avoiding the risks faced by countries that went before. Businesses can therefore make deep and broad plans and visions for the upcoming steps.
