Is 4G speed fast now?
In theory, with a relatively stable experimental environment, the network bandwidth speed can reach up to 600Mbps. However, in reality, most can only achieve speeds of 100Mbps. Nevertheless, compared to the current popular 3G speed in the country, this is still a speed worth experiencing in the current situation, according to Deputy Minister of Information and Communications - Mr. Le Nam Thang. The following article will analyze 4G speeds in Vietnam more closely.
Testing 4G network speed on Speedtest
By using the popular and reliable Ookla Speedtest system, trial tests were conducted sequentially on various smartphone models. The results show that data transmission speed also depends partly on geographical location or time, and conditions like cloudy or clear skies also somewhat affect the measured results.

According to measurements, download speeds range from 25-85Mbps, while upload speeds are somewhat slower, from 16.33-30.75Mbps.
Specifically, for some 4G-enabled phone models, download speeds can reach up to 150Mbps, however, these smartphones are not very common.
Blazing-fast web browsing with 4G network
Testing with high-quality videos up to 30 minutes long, smartphones can still easily experience them. Page loading, seeking, and network quality adjustments are not affected and have almost no latency. This is a stronger feature than any current popular 3G bandwidth package, regardless of the network provider.
From watching videos on Youtube, to websites like Dân trí, 24h.com.vn, Facebook... and even HD, full HD movie sites, everything loads easily.

Regarding battery consumption, according to a recent study, battery consumption when using 3G and 4G applications is similar, and consumption when using 4G bandwidth is slightly lower due to significant advancements that reduce certain waste.
Enjoying high network speeds while saving battery life shows that 4G bandwidth will certainly be an important milestone in the history of telecommunications that humanity can reach.
Is 4G data plan expensive?
What is the price of 4G service?
Although the new technology has been successfully tested, it will take some more time to cover the entire country with 4G. Therefore, at the present time, network operators have agreed to charge the same fees for using 4G and 3G.
Later, when officially popularized throughout the country, network operators will have plans to adjust prices to be most suitable to ensure infrastructure costs. When the infrastructure is stable, prices may decrease.
