Do you know the world's fastest wifi speed? Let's look at the technology of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany regarding wifi transmission speed. The record for wifi speed was set at 40GB/s at a distance of 960 meters from the transmitter to the receiver.

World's fastest wifi speed record
To achieve this amazing accomplishment, engineers at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology designed a transmitter with the best hardware available today. Moreover, they used a radio frequency of 240GHz, while typical wifi transmitters only operate within the range of 2.4-5GHz.
The hardware is built upon a set of extremely modern chips designed at the Karlsruhe Institute. These chips are specifically created to process signals at extremely high frequencies. High frequencies also have the characteristic of shorter wavelengths, which supports smaller antennas for reception. This is also why radio transmission stations use relatively large antennas, while wifi receivers have small antennas.
The amount of data transmitted is inversely proportional to the wavelength. This means that the higher the frequency, the shorter the wavelength, and the shorter the wavelength, the more data can be transmitted at the same time. Researchers have utilized this mechanism to build this super-class transmitter.
