Extremely powerful 4G technology in Vietnam
According to the plan, by the end of 2015, the network operator will complete the installation of 12,000 4G BTS stations, ensuring new network coverage in all districts nationwide. Viettel will also invest in about 23,000 new base stations, bringing the total to 90,000 stations nationwide, including 40,000 3G stations, 28,000 2G stations, and 12,000 4G stations.
The group's deputy general director also stated that with the new technology, the coverage area of the 12,000 4G BTS stations will be narrower because the coverage area of each station will be reduced to ensure data transmission speed and quality. Mr. Phuong shared: “With high-speed data services, the farther you are from the base station, the more the speed and quality decrease, so the density of stations must be greater”. In particular, Viettel will not have separate tariffs for 4G but only a single, unified tariff for all data services, 2G, 3G, 4G and even The reality about the fastest 5G network speed in the US in the world? in the future.
