- 001 + 84 + Area Code + Landline number in Vietnamese provinces and cities
- 001 + 84 + 8 + (Landline number in Ho Chi Minh City)
- 001 + 84 + 4 + (Landline number in Hanoi)
- 001 + 84 + 90 + (Mobile number of Mobifone)
- 001 + 84 + 91 + (Mobile number of Vinaphone)
- 001 + 84 + 98 + (Mobile number of Viettel).
- 001 + 84 + 95 + (Mobile number of S-Fone)
Please note that the call charges from China to Vietnam vary at each hotel. You need to inquire about the price and procedures before using the hotel phone. If calling from the hotel is too expensive, you can look for post offices or public phone booths. Phone cards are very limited, usually only available at airports, famous tourist attractions, or large hotels.
Rent a travel wifi or buy an international SIM card
You can use WiFi or 3G/4G from a SIM card or a WiFi hotspot to make calls over the Internet. This method is more economical because you can comfortably call back to Vietnam while still having internet access for other tasks.
